Today has been a strange day. It is always sad and disturbing read about or hear about tragedies such as school shootings in the news. But it is even more startling when you have connections to those who where involved in the incidences. I woke up this morning to some pretty dark news: that there was a shooting at the YWAM base in Denver. This news is very startling for Christians in general but especially those who are involved in the family of YWAM. Please, stop what you are doing and pray. There is power in prayer and lets not let evil have the final say so in this incedent. I didn't know anyone involved in the shooting and I am doing fine...
Darlene Cunninghman (the founders wife) just sent out an update giving some more information of the victims saying "All four YWAMers were in their 20s. The two who were killed were Tiffany Johnson and Phil Crouse. Many of those who were in Kona may remember having met Tiffany-a bright, outgoing young woman with blonde hair--when she was in Kona last March helping to host the President's Gathering. The two who were wounded are Dan Griebenow, who suffered a neck wound, and Chuck Blanche, who was hit in the leg. Dan underwent surgery early Sunday morning and is in stable condition. We are very hopeful for a full recovery, as the bullet did not damage either major artery or the spinal column."
Thank you that I know I can count on you guys for prayer...
